Overseas Council is pleased to extend an invitation to all EEAA member schools to the consultation on Theological Education for the Migrant Church in Europe) that will be held 23-26 March 2015 in Leuven (ETF).
The nature of the event is a consultation, not a conference, which means that all participants need to come prepared to participate actively. Although there will be inspirational speakers in the evenings, the main feature of the consultation will be semi-structured networking and dialogue sessions in which we will investigate together strategic issues, trends and areas of good practice related to theological education of migrant churches in Europe. Our hope is that as we talk together we will not hear the voice of the other but also the voice of God for this particular season in Europe.
The consultation is by invitation only and will involve leaders of migrant churches, missions working with migrant churches and theological schools interested in serving the needs of leaders in migrant churches in Europe. Places are limited and financial assistance is available.
