  2. Dear Graham,
I was at the ABCP conference last week, where you presented your research on trends within theological education. It was most illuminating. Thank you so much for the uploads you have put on the website. Much appreciated. Glenn

  3. Dear Sirs, can you change our name to Örebro School of Theology (according to a letter that we sent you announcing our change of name from the former “Örebro Theological Seminary”). Moreover, the link to our webpage is dead. It should be http://www.orebromissionsskola.se. THank you! Tommy Wasserman, Academic Dean

  9. Hi,

I was hoping to get in touch with Graham Cheesman, to speak with him about possible EEAA accreditation of a new online degree course in church planting we are planning with Porterbrook Network. Unfortunately, the email address I had for Graham ([email protected]) doesn’t seem to be working for me! Please let me know how to proceed.

    Many thanks,

  10. We are starting a Bible School and Restoration Centre in London, England and wanted to know if you accredited new starts. We have many years of experience between from running different schools and would appreciate it if you could let us know if new schools are a consideration for accreditation by you.

Posted by Pastor Francis | June 28, 2013, 2:59 pm
    • We normally ask that a school be in operation for three years before we can consider it for accreditation. This allows us to examine key areas such as stability, etc. You can however immediately apply for EEAA membership and then take advantage of some EEAA consultancy as you set up the school.

  12. Hello,
Could you please refer me to a resource where I could find the academic requirements for online courses? i.e. how many teaching/homework hours per credit? how many pages to read per credit? etc. Thank you!

    • The EEAA Council is currently elaborating further guidelines for online education. These will be published on the EEAA website under > Policies and also in the > News section. Click on ‘follow’ the site to receive automatic notification.

Pietro Bolognesi

  14. Hello, can somebody help me with a question from Portugal: “How to prove “Non-formal and informal learning”

We (Baptist Seminary in Lisbon Portugal) are looking at possibilities to give credits for ‘life experiences’. (Or “informal learning and non-formal learning” as it is called in the Bologna system if I’m correct.) We already do that for years, students can get e.g. 1 ECTS for participating in conferences and writing a reflection on that (along with other requirements). But we want to develop this area, e.g. by looking at possibilities to give credits for students who organise/lead a bible-camp, are ‘president of the student counsel’, and we have a student that is doing the European ‘Cross-Current’ course http://www.cross-current.org/

In the EEAA Manual (4th version) at point 3.3.3. page 44 we do read about “Formal, non-formal and informal learning” and I think this is what we are talking about. But we do not read specific requirements ‘how to prove’ those ECTS. We found some guidelines from other schools (in USA), but we would like to know if the EEAA could give us some guidelines, or link us to a EEAA school that has already developed tools in this area.

    United in Christ,
    Peter Verhoef
    Dean of students.

  16. Dear Sir or Madam,
if one college is accredited through your organisation does that mean that it is also accredited in Germany through the common German accreditation system anabin (H+)?
    Thanks.

Posted by Manuel Stoll | July 3, 2014, 1:35 pm
    • Dear Manuel,

The EEAA is not an accreditation agency recognised by the German Ministry to accredit within the national degree system. This is a complex issue and I would be happy to explain further by email (office(at)eeaa.eu).

  17. Hi There,

I know that EEAA is a EUROPEAN body of accreditation, but are EEAA courses accepted at any colleges/universities in the United States of America?

I have tried to find a list of schools that may partner with EEAA in the United States so I can apply some courses I will be taking toward an American Master’s Degree, but haven’t had any luck.

If not, does any one know if there there are any ways around this? For example, EEAA is partners with another accreditation agency that USA recognizes, hence EEAA credits can be accepted? etc.

Any help would be great as I can’t find/track down answers online.

    Thank you!

    – Michael

    • Dear Michael, here is the site of the EEAA sister organisation in the USA http://www.abhe.org/. Generally speaking, schools accredited by the ABHE would give favourable consideration to credits earned in an EEAA accredited school. Feel free to write Dr Ralph Enlow.

  19. Dear Sir or Madam,

On behalf of Bibelseminar Bonn/Germany, I would like to request the initiation of the accredidation process for our school and programs. It would be very helpful for us to get an overview about the costs. Would it be possible for you to tell us more about the fees?

    Blessings,

  21. We are in the process of putting together the courses taught in our Bible school into syllabus form to prepare for the accreditation process. We are interested in possibly being accredited by your organisation and are needing a bit of guidance. We have existed for seven years in Galgorm, Northern Ireland. We are interested in the fees required. In terms of facilities, what size of research and study rooms are typically required.

    Thank you,
